An Invitation
New Focus is a is a free non-denominational Christian financial counseling ministry. If you are dealing with difficulties in your life, or if you want to change the way you are living, you are invited to join New Focus.
What happens on New Focus nights
It is a time to learn about God, a time to learn about financial planning and a time to and support for changes you want to make in you: life.
Trained volunteers will lead you in a Bible-based discussion group called "Steps to Financial Freedom." Financial counselors will work with you to establish a spending plan. Support groups will encourage you as you develop the discipline to experience financial independence and reach career and personal goals. Successes are celebrated!
Do I need a sitter?
No, you do not. Childcare is provided. Older children are invited to "Oasis'' where volunteers wi11 read Bible stories, play games, teach them crafts, offer snacks and, when appropriate provide tutoring.
How much does it cost?
It is free. All it takes if your time, your effort and your willingness to look at your choices and make positive changes in your life.
What's in it for me?
You will be offered hope for the future, support and resources to make changes, information and training. If you have made mistakes or never learned to be responsible andif you want to improve your life but need a helping hand, New Focus offers that hand with love and support at its weekly meetings.
