Sunday School
CPC provides Sunday School for all ages. We have a Junior and Senior High Sunday School which meets at 9:00 AM every Sunday except Communion Sundays (the first Sunday of every month), during which we all join together for the full worship hour. Sunday School is normally a time to reflect on the week and the Scripture of that particular Sunday.

F.L.O.O.D. (Faith Lived Out Of Devotion)

Faith Lived Out Of Devotion, or F.L.O.O.D. is our Junior High ministry for youth in 7th and 8th grades. Our purpose is to help youth understand what it means to have a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. We try to answer the question, "What does it mean to have a relationship with Christ?" Through teachings from the Scripture, fellowship and prayer, we provide students with a safe and fun environment to ask questions and challenge their own beliefs. We have weekly meetings from 6:15pm to 7:45pm on Tuesdays. There are also monthly activities off grounds.

New Life

New Life is our Senior High ministry for youth in 9th through 12th grades. Our purpose in the New Life Program is similar to that of the Junior High ministry, though with Senior Highers we try to take it one step further. We ask the questions, "If you choose to have a relationship with Christ, what does it mean that He will give you New Life? How will He affect you, and how will you affect the world?" New Life meets from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Sundays. We start the evening with fellowship, followed by games, music, and then prayer and lesson time. Our goal is to present the passion and practicality of Christianity.

Senior High Small Groups

We at Community Presbyterian Church realize that High School students all go through a phase where they question who they are and what they believe. There are times where High School Youth activities are not enough to quench the abundance of knowledge that students want. We provide several small group Bible studies that helps supplement the New Life program. See Jon Sibug to find the small group that best fits your needs.

Special Activities

As part of the youth ministry, we try to incorporate larger activities on a monthly and yearly basis. Monthly activities include on site movie / game nights and off-site trips to local fun spots (Scandia, bowling, movie theater, and local Christian concerts). We provide these activities as an opportunity for youth to reach out to their friends, and bring them into a fun and safe environment.

We strive to disciple our youth to become mission-minded as well. We accomplish this by providing mission opportunities throughout the year. These include local mission projects like feeding the homeless, preparing food for families in need, and delivering holiday baskets to the elderly. Our goal is to make these students realize that they don't just live in the community, they are an important part of it!

Our yearly activities include

· Summer camp at Westminster Woods in Occidental, CA
· Fall weekend retreat at Westminster Woods in Occidental, CA
· High School Mexico Mission Trip (typically during Easter school break), to build houses

There is no doubt that all of these activities are fun! But fun is just the byproduct of CPC's commitment to make the Gospel of Jesus Christ a passionately real and practical life style for our youth today. Join us in ministry!

A Bit of a Personal Touch

The goal of the youth programs at CPC is to learn about Jesus Christ through worship, fellowship, study, fun and discipleship. Worship, fellowship, study, and fun are part of our youth ministry curriculum, but we believe that discipleship takes a lot of relational time. Our youth advisors and staff are dedicated to spending a lot of small group and one on one time with youth. Jonathan Sibug, the Youth Director, and Youth Advisors are easily approachable, and can often be found amidst one or more youth.
