Circles of Community Presbyterian Women
There are three Circles that meet monthly:

--
Dorcas 3rd Wednesday 9:30 or 11:45 AM
Ruth 2nd Thursday 9:30 AM

Each Circle has officers and a different ministry emphasis. Call the Church Office (448-5055) for information!

The Circles hold the Annual Lavender and Lace Luncheon in May to give special honor to those ladies of the church who have achieved their 80th birthday.

The Community Presbyterian Women contribute to the Thank Offering in November, the Least Coin Offering in May, and the Birthday Offering in June.

Community Presbyterian Women participate in the activities of Church Women United, including the World Community Day in the Fall, the Annual Meeting in January, the World Day of Prayer in March, and the May Fellowship Day, and in a general church offering for Blanket Sunday.

Women's Special Events

Women Praying Together
You've heard it from the pulpit: our first work of ministry is prayer! God calls each of us into a warm and active prayer life. We seek His guidance, we give Him our burdens and concerns, we rejoice in His love and mercy and we rest quietly before him. All this we do in our personal quiet time with God, but He also calls us into community, and we are richly blessed when we pray as the gathered body of Christ.
A number of women pray together periodically in homes and in the church sanctuary. We pray for each other, for our church, and for our larger community. We invite all women to join us, and we extend a special invitation to all who don't yet feel comfortable praying out loud. Your presence in silent prayer is of great value in the growing ministry at CPC. Questions? Call Jane Alofs, 446-0956 or Sabrina Boltz at 448-9806.
