Mothers' Day out

Mothers' Day Out (MDO) is a non-profit early childhood program supported and sponsored by Community Presbyterian Church. Our goal is to offer parents affordable early childhood learning programs while providing children a safe, loving environment to learn through supervised play and socialization. MDO is licensed by the Department of Social Services of the State of California and we have over 30 years of experience providing quality care to parents in our community.

Our Programs

We provide a variety of programs intended to serve the needs of parents and children in our community. We want to work with you and your child to ensure we provide a place where you can feel confident about leaving your infants or toddlers while having a few hours to yourself.

  • Infant-Toddler Program (age birth-24 months)

    Infants eat, sleep, and play on their own time schedules. We provide lots of love and attention along with diaper changes and bottles. Additionally, we have an age-appropriate play room and play yard just for our infant-toddlers who are a little more active. 

    Registration: There is a one-time, non-refundable registration fee per session: June-$20 | July-$20 | Fall/Spring-$75

    Tuition: $120 monthly for one day per week | $240 monthly for two days per week | $360 monthly for 3 days per week | **$100 monthly for each additional sibling attending the same day of the week, for each day of the week.  

  • Toddler Program (ages 18-36 months)

    Toddlers are sometimes too grown up for the infant room, yet not quite ready for the 2-preK program. No worries because we have a place just for them! In our toddler room, they can have lots of attention while being introduced to fun "curriculum" like potty training, hand washing, nose blowing, along with fun activities that involve playdough, crayons, markers, and paint. Children learn while having lots of fun!

  • two year old-pre-K Program

    Stories, art, music, crafts, snacks, and play....lots of play! Our two through pre-K program focuses on cooperative play and developmentally appropriate curriculum to help your child learn while having lots of fun. 

    Registration: There is a one-time, non-refundable registration fee per session: June-$20 | July-$20 | Fall/Spring-$75

    Tuition: $120 monthly for one day per week | $240 monthly for two days per week | $360 monthly for 3 days per week | **$100 monthly for each additional sibling attending the same day of the week, for each day of the week.

  • Lunch Bunch (Available to AM PEP students only)

    At 11:30, when children are dismissed from PEP, we care for an additional 8-12 children until 1:00 PM. We play and then eat lunch together.  

    Registration: There is a one-time, non-refundable registration fee per session: June-$20 | July-$20 | Fall/Spring-$75

    Tuition: $35 monthly for one day per week | $70 monthly for two days per week | $15 per day for drop-ins
