My husband, Steve, joined CPC's worship team as the bassist a few years ago, and a few months later I volunteered to assist with weekly rehearsals and Sunday worship presentation slides. For many years we envisioned and prayed to be a part of a church where our talents and Christian beliefs could be shared. Our first Sunday service together at CPC was met with the immediate warmth of CPC's friendly staff and congregation. It was an unforgettable experience and very quickly cemented our decision to make CPC our home church. I am grateful to Pastor Paul for placing his trust in me as the Office Administrator. And I am humbled to be a part of CPC's staff and for the blessing of fellowship, worship, and serving the Lord at Community Presbyterian Church in Vacaville.

My first time coming through the doors of PEP school, I was a high school student in an early childhood education class assigned to do an observation in a preschool classroom. After I was married and had children of my own, I enrolled my son in PEP school while I worked jobs in an elementary school program called Just For Kids and as a noon duty supervisor. When my second child was born, I decided to get my Associate's Degree in early childhood education at Solano College and when my daughter started school, I did too, right here at PEP school! I was a PEP teacher until our previous director retired. I loved our PEP school and didn't want it to change, so I applied for the position and became Director in August of 2001. When it was time for my daughter to move on to kindergarten, she didn't understand why I wasn't either. Every year when our children go on to kindergarten, I am so happy for them, but I will stay in Preschool:) I am just not ready to move on!  

I've been in this area my whole life having grown up in Davis and attending the Heald Business College in Sacramento, where I graduated with a degree in Business in 1976. I have been involved in early childhood education ministries since 1989 and earned my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Solano Community College.   I'm married to Marty, and we have four adult children and 8 (and counting) grandchildren! 

I am thankful to be part of the PEP School staff, I have long been a proponent of preschool and can put my passion into action here. I was born in Dallas, graduated UC Davis and am the proud mom of two adult children. I am continually amazed at the abundance of God’s grace, and look for ways to serve Him more.

I am a wife and mother of 3 beautiful children. Through the years I have served as a youth leader, bible school teacher, choir director, praise dance instructor, and worship leader. I am so excited to assist the youth and families in connecting with the church and establishing a true relationship with our lord and savior Jesus Christ! As the Director of Family ministries I am here to teach, encourage, uplift, and provide resources to all the youth, children and families in our community. Can’t wait to meet you!
