new focus ministry
New Focus is a ministry at CPC whose purpose is to assist its members in transitioning out of homelessness. The ministry offers one on one financial management training, where members are assigned an individual coach to help them learn how to create and live within a budget.
Most members come from Opportunity House, Vacaville's Homeless Shelter. New Focus Directors are in close touch with case managers at O House.
The ministry incorporates all aspects of members' lives to include guidance in parenting, childcare, transportation, seeking meaningful employment, furthering their education, and navigating medical and legal issues.
New Focus is staffed by volunteers who are motivated by their caring about those in our community who need assistance. We are completely funded by donations, such as yours.

women's ministrY
Women's Ministry is the name of the Women's group at Community Presbyterian Church. Our goal is to shine the light and love of Jesus within the body of Christ and out into our surrounding community. Within Women's Ministry are sub groups of which are active in various ways. You can join any or all of the sub groups.
Women's Bible Study: Wednesdays at 10AM in the Conference Room. Come study God's word and get to know the women at CPC. Come and be encouraged. Learn what God has to say and pray for one another.
Laughter & Latte: 1st Saturday of the month, 10AM, at Journey Coffee, 896 Alamo Dr B, Vacaville, CA 95688. Coffee and friends, make the perfect blend!
Morning Prayer & Fellowship: 1st Saturday of the Month, 8AM, in the sanctuary. Join other women at CPC who like to connect with the Holy Spirit. Bring your concerns to God, pray for our community, our church leadership teams, and any other matter that God lays on your heart.
Quilter's Circle in the Social Hall: Tuesdays, 9:30-11:30. Come join other women who love to sew and put small quilts together. No experience required. These ladies will teach you what you need to know to help out. The quilts are made and then donated to convalescent hospitals in town. Most of the materials used to make the quilts are donated. Some of the quilts are sold to help raise money for postage to send out the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes at the end of the year.
Seasonal Crafts - Check out the events page to see if there is a craft class coming up you would like to attend. These classes usually last 2-2.5 hours. They are held on Saturday mornings at 10am in our social hall. There is usually a minimal cost to cover supplies and to support missions.

Our Worship Ministry provides music and songs for our Sunday worship services so that the congregation can express their worship of God through singing and other forms of praise.

Our vision for this ministry is to connect the church with the community. Our goal is to win the children & young people from worldly philosophies without detaching them from their personality and youthfulness by giving them the truth from Gods Word’s not only to their minds but also to their hearts, through learning the word of God, worship & fellowship. Our vision for our ministry is to become the staple youth group for this neighborhood. Our Mission is to reach, connect, grow, discover, and honor. We have so many things we are working on for our ministry. This year we will be connecting with the community to reach, connect and grow our youth children & family ministry. We are here to show love to our community bring them to Christ and assist them with establishing a true relationship with our lord and savior Jesus Christ!
Children's Church!!
We want everyone to experience God in a way that is meaningful and relevant... especially our kids! We offer nursery & children's church every Sunday. These programs are designed to engage children and elicit a sense of wonder, discovery, and passion for God. Every week, we have a new and fun filled bible lesson with short films and crafts to support our learning. Our Children really enjoy this portion of the service and we encourage you to bring your children out every Sunday to fellowship with us. Nursery Ages: 0-3 & Children's Church Ages: 4-12

Kids, adults.... everyone needs a place to belong and people who care. Our goal is to create a community that is satisfying, life-giving, unique, and has the power to transforms lives. We are a ministry of people who simply love Jesus, love people, love bringing joy into the world, and love helping people experience the fullness of life. Needless to say, we love families and prioritize them in everything we do so, no matter where you enter our community, we are ready to welcome and embrace your family.
Happenings :
- Youth Fellowship Friday’s: A faith based hang out for 6th-12th graders. Run & register your children for our Youth Fellowship Fridays.
- Check our church website (events page) for all the new upcoming Youth Family & Children festivities on a monthly basis.
Our youth group consists of members of our congregation as well as children from our community. This is a special group where you will meet new friends/fellowship/worship/have game tournaments/open mic nights etc, but most of all learn God's word and build a relationship with Christ while having absolute fun doing it. This group will not only meet at our church for fellowship, but we will also fellowship at various locations in the Vacaville area.
